Butterfly

you caught the poem of my heart

and released a butterfly

spreading her wings

discovering the night

and

the stars in your eyes

Winter Wonderland

Do you ever take the time to really look around where you live?

Do you ever try to find the beauty where you usually don't notice it?

These pictures are from yesterdays walk, and I have to say that more than once I found myself have to stop to just take it all in.

This is my home town.

This is where I acutally live.

And I just feel soo lucky.

Enjoy!

  Father Christmas re-told

A long time ago, way up in the north, lived Christopher Kringle and his wife Mary.

They had loved each other since childhood and was still very much in love, even though nowadays they looked more like grandparents than the children they once where.

And to their great sorrow that was the one thing their otherwise happy life was missing.

Children and grand children.

But they weren't bitter or sad, because they still had their love for each other, their animals, nature and the village they lived in.

Things where a bit different back then, compared to what you and I are used to.

People lived simple life, and hadn't got stores in the same way that we have now.

If there was something you needed, you simply had to make it yourself, or trade something with a person that could do what you needed.

And this day Chrisopher was out in the forest with a young boy named David to help Davids family to get some wood for the fireplace.

It had been a rough year for the whole village, and David's family was gravely affected. His mother was expecting a child, and his father was badly injured and had to stay in bed.

So it was up to young David to help his family, because that was what you did back then.

Chrisopher of course didn't need the help, but he knew that the family wouldn't accept the firewood if they felt they owed him anything, because the thruth was, that they wouldn't be able to repay him.

So of the kindness of his heart, Christopher told them that he would gladely bring them the wood if he could get some help from young David.

So now they could accept the wood and still keep their head held high.

Young David was a bright and kind child, eager to help.

And as most children, he was filled with questions.. About pretty much everything.

-How come you have a reindeer instead of a horse? David asked, looking at the reindeer patiently waiting, tied to a tree. He isn't that big and doesn't look strong enough.

-Horses are big and strong, explained Christopher, but they don't like the cold as much as the reindeer do. A reindeer might be a bit smaller, and maybe not as strong as a work horse, but if you look at his hoofs you can tell that he can walk even in deep snow better than a horse can.

-But you have your reindeers in a stable just like a horse.

Christopher laughed.

-Well, yes we do. You see, when me and my wife was newlyweds, she was out one autumn gathering some berries, when she found a small reindeer lying next to it's dead mother. It was too small to make it on it's own, and the people that took care of the reindeers simply couldn't take care of such a small one. So they asked my wife if she could take care of it. Even back then, my wife was known for her great love of all living things. She took so good care of the small calf, that from there on, if they have a calf that wouldn't make it, and they are close enough, they bring them to her. And that is why she take such extra good care of them.

David looked at him and smiled.

-With your father being hurt, I guess you and your family won't be able to go to church this Chrismas?

-No, said David, hanging his head. Are you?

-Well, we try to go when we can, and this year I'm helping to build a new crib for the baby Jesus.

-Why did they bring a baby gifts?

-Well, you see, the wise men where told that a great King was born, so they brought him the finest things they had. Gold, myrrh and frankincense.

-That is strange gifts, David laughed.

-What would you have wanted? asked Christopher.

-A new warm sweather, said David.

And Christopher took another look at the child, and now he noticed how badly his clothes where, and how thin and pale he was.

He gave the boy a sad smile.

-Well he said, now I think we have enough firewood for your family and some for me to use to the crib. Thank you so much for your help David. You have done really good. I'll bet your parents are really happy they have such a kind and helpful boy.

The boy smiled and looked proud of the work he had done.

Back home with his wife Christopher told Mary about David and his poor clothes.

-This has been such a hard year for so many people he said. I just wished there was something we could do.

-Well, said Mary. Christmas is some time away,so what do you say if I knit him a new sweather from the yarn I have left over? You could stop by on our way to church when you are giving them the new crib, and leave it to him on the way.

-Why don't we give a little something for every child in the village? There aren't that many and almost all of them will be on the way?

-That sounds like a good idea, said Mary and kissed him on the cheek. Now you better go and take care of the animals before they start to think that we have forgotten all about them.

Christoper took care of the animals and then he kneeled down and prayed. He always felt closest to God with his animals or in nature.

-Heavenly Father, he said. This year has been so hard for so many in this village. Pleas let us help them in the small way we can. People need hope so badly this winter. And he felt such a inner peace, that he knew in his heart, that this was the right thing to do.

Christoper and Mary worked hard the days that followed so they had a small gift for each of the children in the village.

Gifts back then weren't as gifts you know today. We would be getting a new phone, or a new video game or something like that, but back then, a good gift was something that you really needed, something you could use, like a new sweather to keep you warm, or a new scarf, or a new knife.

And late on Christmas Eve, Christopher put his reindeers infront of his small sleigh and started his journey. The plan was to leav each gift outside the door without anyone noticing him. He feared that people wouldn't accept the gift since they hadn't something to offer him in return, but if they didn't know who had gifted them, there was no one they could feel owed to.

He didn't get far on his journey when a bright light appeared and an Angel was standing before him.

He stopped the sleigh and kneeled before the Angel.

-Christopher Kringle, the Angel said. God has heard your prayers, and he has sent me to tell you that they have been answered.

-My lord, said Christopher. Me and my wife are not as young as we once where, and even if a child would be the most beloved gift, we are happy with the love we have for each other and our animals and village.

-God is not giving you A child said the angel.

-No?

-God is giving you ALL the children.

Christopher didn't know what to say.

-God sees the love you and your wife have for all children in your village. And what is Christmas about, if not the love for a Child? You and Mary will be the guardians of all children in Christmas time. Because with every child on earth, there is a hope for a better tomorrow.

The End

I should have told you

I should have told you that I Love you

but I waited way too long

now all that I have left

are the empty words

for this broken song

I can still feel you

Your scent is everywhere

I want to say I love you

But you no longer care

So many times we laughed

so many times we kissed

so many times we argued

so many times I'll miss

Energy

And in The beginning there was Energy.

Roaming around in the universe.

And pulling materia together

Creating

And in creating

there

was

Life.

Life is energy

Humans are life

Humans are energy

Have you never asked yourself

why man always was so faschinated

with lightning?

with fire?

with ghosts?

with technology?

Lightning strikes created fire.

Fire creates wormth

It keeps us safe

it keeps us warm

It heats our food

and it

can

kill.

But we all recognize the energy in the lightning.

A lightning you can see.

you can see what it touches.

the destruction

and how it creats new life.

so is it really that hard to believe that man is energy?

But where does is go?

Man have only a small time before our energy runs out

and the small parts of us that is left is absorbed by the universe.

But some humans have more energy.

Hate

Anger

almost as much energy as a lightning

and as destructive.

But what happens with that energy when that person dies?

And what if that person dies young?

in the prime of his hate?

Executed?

The electric chair?

What if all that hateful negative energy

is absorbed?

by electricity itself.

or if someone is electricuted in his home or work?

all that human negative hateful energy

In our electricity?

In our lights?

in our tv?

In our radio?

In our cellphones and computers?

Haven't we all had random words pop up on the screen?

Hours of work that disappears for no reason?

Must just have been a slip of the fingers?

Right?

Or have heard strange voices in our private phonecalls?

Just a glitch in the system?

two calls that got intertwined?

Right?

No such things as ghost.

But lightning is energy.

And you don't question yourself when you see it?

or others?

So what if ghosts is just human energy left behind?

Next time

something strange pops up on your screen

Next time

on your late night walk and the lights start to flutter

Next time

you hear static on your favorite radio show

it is just a powerglitch.

Right?

or is it?

is it really?
