Shards of Silver 3

She woke up with a banging headache, not remebering much of the dreams.

The rain was beating against the window as it was trying to break them.

It was just one of those days.

Standing infront of the mirror she took a good look at herself, almost didn't recognize the person looking back at her. The long strand of silver wasn't as visible today as it was last night but her eyes seemed different somehow. Looking at her back she could see a slight sort of pattern. Barely visible. Must just be an inprint from the bed somehow. or?

She felt trapped.

Her apartment seemed so small, like the walls was closing in. She needed to breath, to streatch her body and inhale the fresh air in the forest.

Roadtrip time!

Entering Limbo it was busy busy busy.

-What tha heck is going on? she asked Jeff.

-You'll see, he answered pointing to some workers opening a couple of huge packages.

She waited.

-Dang! that some awesome kegs you got there! Is that a Troxjk???

-Yup, and a Hikikomori! From the Beer King himself.

-Oh, you are climbing the social ladder my friend. Is it for the new X? Think I've got a mail about this.. He wanted me to promote it on my show.

-Yes. One beer aged in 2 different kegs.

-Nice. How is it?

-Haven't tasted them yet. Wanna join me?

-Nah not now. I was thinking more in the lines of one enormous latte if you don't mind.

-Feeling the weather?

-In a big way. And I've decided to take a bit of a road trip. Was thinking of hitting the Lakes and see if I can get my mojo back.

-When are you leaving?

-Tomorrow.

-Dang that was fast. You don't need to prepare?

-I've been planing it for a while, but now I just have to go.. Can't breath. Need my space. Some dang fresh air and see someting else but all this neon.

-Are you taking the Chenél?

-Have you lost your mind? Taking my Queen into the woods? NEVER. I'm taking the DOM. Badass enough to carry the weight and slick enough for those narrow paths. And I've already have a couple of energy packs ready for him.

-So the Chenél is a female and the DOM a male?

-Have you seen the DOM? Would you call that beast female?

-You and your bikes. Jeff laughed. Oh, Btw, Fred was wondering if you wouldn't mind sing tonight. It was ages ago.

-Hm, well. I have been working on something but it isn't finished. Well if he's up to it I can try. Tell him I want a slow, sort of depressing version of Minds Blight.

-Sure, he love that song anyway. So you're coming after the show?

-Yes, I'll see you then.

-Excellent. Oh love the new nails btw. Black! They almost looks like claws.

-My what? oh, Um yeah. Was trying something a bit different. You know us girls, she said with a fake laugh, hiding her hands in the coat. Wtf? she thought. Well, I'm off.. Cya tonight.
