Shards of Silver 2

She went back to her apartment still thinking about the bracelet, now sitting really comfortable on her wrist.

Who would have sent her souch a gift?

Back in forever ago the Ametrine was considered a valuable and powerful stone. Part Sun and Part Moon. But she never put much beleive in souch things. Things are things. Made for use or beauty. So Why would someone give her souch a gift? But it was beautiful, she had to admit that.

A soft peck on the window woke her from her thoughts. It was a Snow Magpie. Beautiful colored in white and blue. Thought to have been extinct for hundereds of years until recently when they suddenly appeared.

It just sat there looking at her.

-Hi little one. Come for a nightsnack?

The bird looked at her and pecked on the window once more.

Olivila opened the window and the bird flew in and sat on her shoulder.

-You are really hungry tonight aren't you? She took out some birdseeds and a little bowl with water that she placed on a tray for the bird. But it didn't seem that interested in the food. Instead it looked intensely on the bracelet.

-You like it do you? You can't tell me who gave it to me?

The bird just cawed softly, and started to feed.

-Too bad you can't talk.

After the bird had left Olivia prepared for sleep. Standing infront of the mirror brushing her hair, she noticed a long strand of silver colord hair hiding underneath in the back.

-What the .... I'm not THAT old! What the heck is going on?

A bit annoyed she finally got into bed.

The big Moon hanging in the sky outside of her window looked like a big shard of silver.

She blinked a few times and fell a sleep.

Tossing and turning in her bed, she was dreaming about birds, wolves and the Silverlakes.

Screaming, violence, monsters and the feeling of a Love bigger than all.

It was a long night.
